How to play

The play screen: star notes on the upper lane and round notes on the lower lane flow in from the right toward the judgment rings on the left, with a hold note coming on the lower lane
  1. Pick a song and a difficulty (NORMAL or HARD), then press START.
  2. Notes flow in from the right. Hit notes on the upper lane with the upper button and notes on the lower lane with the lower button, the moment they overlap the judgment ring.
  3. Keep holding a hold note until it ends. For fast runs, alternate two fingers.
  4. When you finish the song, you get a rank from S to D based on your score.

Judgments and life

Each hit is judged PERFECT, GREAT, or GOOD, from the smallest timing gap to the largest. A note that passes without a hit is a MISS. Every MISS takes away life, and when life reaches 0 the song ends as FAILED. A PERFECT restores a little life.

FAQ

Is it free?

Yes. It is free and needs no sign-up. Open the page in your browser and play.

Can I play on a phone?

Yes. Hold the phone sideways. Tap the left side of the screen for upper notes and the right side for lower notes. To play without the address bar, open it from Share > Add to Home Screen.

Are my records saved?

Your best score and rank for each song and difficulty, and your favorite songs, are saved in this browser. Nothing is sent to a server, so they are not shared with other devices or browsers.

What if the sound and my taps feel out of sync?

The game subtracts the audio delay your device reports. Bluetooth earphones add a large delay and often feel off, so play with wired earphones or the device's speaker.
